Project Description:
Located in downtown Redwood City, Kensington Place provides care for seniors with a focus on residents evidencing dementia or other memory impairments.
The design involves a 2-story “U” shaped building envelope offering 45 resident units, as well as common areas for a café, a parlor, and dining and socializing spaces. Additional areas include fitness, activity and wellness, along with administrative offices, a commercial kitchen and a commercial laundry. Specialized gardens, patios, covered balconies and sitting areas are also available throughout the grounds.
