Project Description:
As the first state funded Design/Build project in the CA Community College system, the new 97,000 GSF Multi-Disciplinary Academic Facility will house Language Arts, Foreign Language, Career Technology Education, Computer & Office Studies (COS), Disabled Students Programs & Services, and the Student Success Center’s Writing & Reading Center. The design approach respects the historical significance of the original campus core while distinguishing the newly constructed facility, creating a 21st century learning environment with its own sense of place and time. This new facility is LEED Gold Certified.
